SERVE

Since its inception in 1925, members of Key Club International have provided countless hours of service to their homes, schools and communities.Every Key Club has the authority to select its own service projects because usually there are many more service needs in a community than there are service clubs and agencies to meet them. However, all Key Clubs are asked to participate in the Major Emphasis: "Children: Their Future, Our Focus."

International/District Theme: THE ELIMINATE PROJECT

With The Eliminate Project, Kiwanis International and UNICEF have joined forces to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus. Neonatal tetanus kills one baby every nine minutes—nearly 60,000 newborn children every year.

To eliminate MNT from the Earth, 129 million mothers and their future babies must be immunized. The end of this one disease means the beginning of better health for so many families.

To stay up-to-date, sign up for The Eliminate Project's e-mail newsletter and visit www.TheEliminateProject.org for more information.

DCON 2015

Level Up in Service

What is DCON? DCON is short for District Convention. Each year, the Pacific Northwest District gets together to celebrate the year of service, elect the new executive district board, meet other Key Clubbers in the area, and learn about new service opportunities. Ask your club officers or Lieutenant Governors for more information!

KIWANIS ONE DAY

Kiwanis One Day is April 5, 2014.

Every Key Club should save Saturday, April 5, 2014, for the annual Kiwanis service initiative observed worldwide – Kiwanis One Day.

On Kiwanis One Day, every club is urged to join with the rest of the Kiwanis family--K-Kids, Builders, Circle K, Aktion Club, and Kiwanis--for a day of united service.

LHS Key Club

Hey Patriots!!! We're here to tell you a little about key club. Throughout the year we are involved in many volunteer events including, salmon days, trick or trick or treat for UNICEF, MORP and the giving tree, just to name a few.

This past year, our Key Club totaled over 1,000 hours of community service. Because Key Club’s mission is community service we partner with local and national groups to give back to the community.

Our meetings are on Tuesday mornings at 7 in the choir room. We hope to see you there. Go KEY CLUB!!!
